Boris Shapiro joined Methfessel & Werbel in April 2011 after completing a two-year judicial clerkship at the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law (OAL). During his tenure, Mr. Shapiro attended administrative hearings, performed legal research, and drafted advisory memoranda on disputed cases involving special education, healthcare, environmental protection, and other areas of administrative law. During his free time, Mr. Shapiro co-authored a published article that explored the role of expert testimony in hearings before the OAL.
During law school, Mr. Shapiro participated in the Hunter Moot Court Competition. Additionally, Mr. Shapiro served as an articles editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. In his final year of school, Mr. Shapiro participated in the Children’s Justice Clinic and authored a published note addressing the issue of trademark infringement on the internet.
Boris Shapiro is a member of Methfessel & Werbel’s Employment and Civil Rights Practices Group under the direction of Eric L. Harrison. His practice is concentrated in the areas of employment, education and civil rights litigation.
