Tim Sheehan


Tim is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and joined the firm following a clerkship with Hon. Mitchel E. Ostrer of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. At Georgetown Law, Tim was a research assistant to Professor Judith Appelbaum and served as an articles editor on the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy. Tim’s note, Taking the Third-Party Doctrine Too Far: Why Cell Phone Tracking Data Deserves Fourth Amendment Protection, was published in the Winter 2015 issue of GJLPP. During law school, Tim worked full-time at an employment law firm, where he drafted pleadings, motions, and discovery responses, sat in on depositions, and participated in settlement negotiations. Tim also completed an internship with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, and served as a judicial intern to Hon. Freda L. Wolfson of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Tim is a member of the Property team under the direction of Stephen R. Katzman.
