In Farmers Mutual v. N.J. Property-Liability Guarantee Association, handled by Ric Gallin of our office, the New Jersey Supreme Court has increased the exposure of property/casualty carriers in instances where there is an insolvent carrier sharing the risk with other carriers or the insured in long tail claims such as environmental and toxic tort exposures.
