Sarah E. Shepp

Ms. Shepp joined the firm in 2020 following  a successful clerkship with the Honorable Alan G. Lesnewich, J.S.C., in the Civil Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Union Vicinage. During her clerkship, Ms. Shepp was responsible for reviewing motions, writing bench memoranda, managing the motion calendar, conducting legal research, preparing orders, and drafting legal opinions. Ms. Shepp also served as a court-trained mediator, assisting parties in the settlement of Special Civil and Small Claims disputes.

While attending Syracuse University College of Law, Ms. Shepp was an Associate Editor of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce where her student note Priceless Kidney: The Ineffectiveness of Organ Trafficking Legislation was selected for publication in the Spring 2019 edition of the journal. Ms. Shepp was awarded the L. Frederick E. Goldie Publication Award for her note publication and was also awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for receiving the highest grade in her Advanced Torts class. During law school, Ms. Shepp was a Legal Research and Writing Teaching Assistant and participated in an Externship at the Office of the Federal Public Defender, Northern District of New York.

During the summer between her second and third year of law school, Ms. Shepp worked as a Law Clerk for the Law Office of Brian Rayhill, Nationwide Insurance Westchester Trial Division where she drafted motions, researched liability issues and drafted responses to discovery requests for general liability, auto, construction and labor law cases. Additionally, during her third year of law school, Ms. Shepp was a Student Attorney in the Securities Arbitration and Consumer Law Clinic where she represented individuals in fraud, deceptive business practices and breach of contract cases.

Ms. Shepp is a member of the Property Team and works under the direction of Gina Stanziale.
