Mr. McCook primarily devotes his practice to litigation of matters involving commercial transportation accidents, products liability (including toxic torts), commercial premises liability, construction accidents and construction defect claims against engineers, architects and contractors.

Mr. McCook has represented a broad range of product manufacturers and their products, including metal forming machinery, cranes and aerial lifting equipment, aerial work platforms, power tools, hand tools, lawn and garden machines, rubber molding and processing machinery, plastic blow-molding and forming machinery, product packaging machinery, paint mixing machinery, automotive air tools, bakery processing equipment, electrical motors, engineered building materials, fabric calendars and rollers, conveyors and conveying systems, materials handling equipment (pallet jacks, fork lifts, aisle trucks), amusement machines, electrical components, foot switches, food processing machinery, food slicers, personal safety equipment and diverse chemical products.

Mr. McCook represents trucking companies and their employees in litigation involving tractor-trailer accidents, PIP reimbursement claims, loading and unloading insurance issues, cargo damage and loss claims, employment and harassment claims. In addition to the numerous matters which he has tried involving truck accidents, Mr. McCook has also represented truck repairers, truck manufacturers, leasing companies and component part manufacturers in litigation involving claims of negligent repair, defective product design and substandard maintenance.

Prior to his legal career, Mr. McCook was employed for over 10 years in the field of domestic and international freight transportation management, and possesses extensive work experience with all aspects of transportation management including domestic freight consolidation and transportation (TOFCICOFC rail transport, T/L and LTL truck transport), international consolidation, N.V.O.C.C. import/export and warehousing. Mr. McCook also possesses experience in private hauling, fleet insurance procurement, truck and trailer leasing and DOT regulation compliance.
