Tiffany Tagarelli worked as an Associate at Methfessel & Werbel from September 2017 through July 2022.  Following a brief sabbatical working at a law firm that focused on municipal law, election law, school law, and governmental affairs law, she returned in July 2024.

Ms. Tagarelli has significant experience in the representation and management of all aspects of a case from inception to conclusion.  She concentrates her practice in several areas including criminal law, labor and employment law, municipal law, school law, special education law, and insurance defense.  Ms. Tagarelli regularly defends public entities against complaints filed in New Jersey Superior Court, New Jersey Appellate Division, New Jersey Federal Court, and the Office of Administrative Law.  Additionally, Ms. Tagarelli has significant experience as a Municipal Prosecutor for multiple municipalities in Warren County, Morris County, and Bergen County.

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Tagarelli was a Law Clerk for the Honorable Julie M. Marino, J.S.C., of Superior Court of New Jersey, Hunterdon Vicinage and the Honorable Kathleen A. Sheedy, P.J.F.P., of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth Vicinage.  Ms. Tagarelli was responsible for the management of both Judge Marino and Judge Sheedy’s motion calendars, researching various legal topics, and recommending dispositions of pending motions.  Additionally, she was certified as a civil mediator and assisted parties in the settlement of special civil and small claims disputes.

Ms. Tagarelli is a member of Methfessel & Werbel’s Employment Practices and Civil Rights group under the direction of Eric L. Harrison.
