Jeffrey R. Ball

Jeffrey Ball joined the firm in 2026. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ball operated his own practice, focused on advising businesses and nonprofit organizations on a broad range of employment law matters. His practice emphasized proactive compliance and risk management, including counseling employers on day-to-day employee relations issues, conducting workplace investigations, and representing employers in agency discrimination claims.
Mr. Ball graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 2016. Following law school, he served as a Public Defender in both Idaho and New Mexico, where he represented indigent defendants in all phases of misdemeanor and felony proceedings. In this role, Mr. Ball gained extensive litigation experience, trying numerous cases and successfully resolving matters on behalf of his clients. In 2021, he transitioned to employment law and founded Management Southwest, a practice dedicated to employment law counseling and compliance.
Mr. Ball is a member of Methfessel & Werbel’s Employment Practices group under the direction of Eric L. Harrison. His practice is concentrated in the areas of employment law, education law, public entity law, discrimination, and civil rights.
