Elena Gammardella joined Methfessel & Werbel’s Subrogation Practice Group in 2026. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Gammardella served as Of Counsel to a mid-sized insurance litigation firm in New Jersey, where she focused on general liability litigation and matters arising under the Child Victims Act. Ms. Gammardella also maintained a private practice in Monmouth County New Jersey for over sixteen years, representing clients in a broad range of matters including contract disputes, real estate transactions, landlord-tenant matters, divorce proceedings, and the preparation of wills. Ms. Gammardella has also served as a court evaluator for guardianship proceedings in New York Supreme Court.

Ms. Gammardella received her Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from New York University. While attending NYU, she spent a semester studying Chinese language and culture at the Beijing Teachers College in Beijing, China. Ms. Gammardella is fluent in Portuguese, Italian and Spanish.
