Mr. González joined Methfessel & Werbel in September 2026, following a judicial clerkship with The Honorable Linda Grasso-Jones in the Civil Division of the Monmouth County Superior Court. He handles civil litigation matters on Bill Bloom’s liability defense team, drawing upon his experience conducting extensive legal research, assessing precedent, and preparing judicial opinions for a variety of civil motions. During his clerkship, he regularly observed civil hearings, developing a practical, working knowledge of the New Jersey Court Rules and courtroom procedures.

While obtaining his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School, Mr. González served as the Managing Notes & Comments Editor for the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal. He was recognized as an MSP Scholar, earned an Intellectual Property Certificate, and served as the School Store Chief Operating Officer and student representative for the Rutgers Newark Student Bar Association.

Prior to his clerkship, Mr. González interned for The Honorable Daniel Roberts in the Union County Superior Court, where he prepared judicial opinions and observed criminal proceedings. He also gained corporate experience as a legal intern for Celldex Therapeutics, where he updated legal and business fallbacks, created internal training presentations, and assisted in building compliance systems related to the GDPR.
